Common questions

How do I install Recify?

Open the Shopify App Store, search for Recify — Smart Upsell, and click Add app. Approve the permissions Shopify shows, then open Recify from your Shopify admin to finish setup and add theme blocks.

The widget isn’t appearing on my product page — what do I do?

Confirm you’re viewing a template where the Recify block was added (for example the default product template), that your theme is published, and that you’ve hard-refreshed the storefront. In the theme editor, check Apps for the Recify block under the buy box. If it still doesn’t show, email us your myshopify.com domain and theme name.

How does the AI work?

Recify starts with AI similarity so recommendations appear from day one, even with limited order history. After your store reaches enough orders (for example around 50), the engine blends in behavior-based signals from real purchase patterns. You don’t configure modes manually — the app adapts automatically.

Where do I manage billing?

Open Recify inside your Shopify admin and go to billing settings. Charges are processed through Shopify, and subscription changes follow Shopify’s billing rules.

How do I uninstall Recify?

In Shopify admin, go to Settings → Apps and sales channels, select Recify, and choose Uninstall. Remove any Recify blocks from your theme editor so no empty sections remain. See our documentation for data retention after uninstall.
